Aldox is an antibiotic for veterinary use, particularly designed for poultry and pigs.
Premix powder.
Indications: Aldox is a second-generation tetracycline with a broad spectrum of action that is effective against pathologies caused by susceptible microorganisms, such as:
- Chronic respiratory diseases
- Bronchopneumonia
- Infectious coryza
- Chronic enteritis
- Chlamydiosis
Species: birds and pigs.
Administration: orally, mixed with the feed. Administer for 3 to 5 days. Dose and frequency of administration may vary according to the recommendations of the veterinarian.
Dose rates: 50 mg/kg live weight or 1-2 kg/ton of feed, which is equal to 10 mg of doxycycline hyclate (active principle) per kg of live weight.
Withdrawal period:
- 7 days (meat).
- Do not administer to animals producing eggs or milk for human consumption.
Special warnings: do not administer to animals allergic to tetracyclines or animals producing eggs or milk for human consumption. Do not administer together with penicillin, cephalosporins, quinolones and cycloserine.
