Alquermes Mexico has recently launched new facilities for the manufacturing of liquid and powder-based  products. The new machinery will be used in the production of Alquerplus Doxicilina 15%, fat-soluble tetracycline oral solution; and Aldox, doxycycline-based antibiotic powder.

Alquermes Mexico has its laboratory and factory located in Ciudad Obregón, in the state of Sonora,. In these facilities it develops veterinary products specialized in animal welfare, using state-of-the-art pharmacological processes in order to achieve the maximum product efficiency .

Alquermes will produce Alquerplus Doxycycline and Aldox,  broad-spectrum antibiotics, and tetracycline of second generation, used to treat diseases such as colibacillosis, mycoplasmosis, salmonellosis, chronic respiratory disease, staphylococcal and pasteurelosis. These antibiotics are marketed in both oral solution (Alquerplus Doxycycline) and powder (Aldox). These are specially designed to be administered to broilers and swine.
